Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Kontiv Solutions (SSM 202603017630 (003813924-K)) is the data user (controller) for personal data collected through kontiv.com and our enquiries. ListNama, KedyVet and Decidend each have their own privacy notice covering data in those products.

2. What we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone, organisation and job title.
• Account data: login details and settings.
• Content: messages, files and records you send or upload.
• Billing: plan and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment providers, not stored by us.
• Technical data: IP address, device, browser and pages visited.

3. Why we use it

• to provide, secure and support our services;
• to reply to enquiries and deliver advisory work you request;
• to process payments and keep required records;
• to understand usage and improve our products;
• to comply with the law.

We do not sell personal data. We only send marketing if you agree, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Data you upload about others

When you upload other people's data (guest lists, employee or client records), you decide why it is processed and you are responsible for giving them notice. We act as your data processor and handle it only to provide the service.

5. Who we share it with

• hosting, database, email and analytics providers that run our services;
• payment processors;
• professional advisers, under confidentiality;
• authorities, where the law requires.

6. Transfers outside Malaysia

Some providers store or process data outside Malaysia. When that happens, we take steps required under the PDPA so your data is protected to a comparable standard.

7. Security and breaches

We use encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege access. No system is completely secure. If a breach is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and affected individuals as the law requires.

8. How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires (for example tax and accounting records). Then we delete or anonymise it.

9. Your rights

• access and correct your personal data;
• withdraw consent, or limit processing, including for direct marketing;
• ask us to move your data to another provider (data portability), where applicable;
• ask us to delete it, where the law allows.

10. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to run our sites, and analytics to understand usage in aggregate. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

11. Children

Our services are for adults and organisations. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
